Miss North Carolina All American 2026

Deanna Glenn is elated and honored to serve as Miss North Carolina All American during America’s 250th. She is going on her 4th year as an Elementary School Music Teacher and hopes to instill American pride in her students through music. Deanna also keeps active by working at The YMCA.

Deanna has started a Pen Pal club called Plus 10 (+10) based on the nun study – when you write down positive notes, you prolong your life by 10 years. Starting in local tea houses, cat cafes, and anywhere people relax, she plans to grow this into a national and global program. When she is not writing letters, she is playing Mah Jongg or reading a book.

Deanna has been inspired by a safe haven called MiraVia – a group that helps young mothers in college by providing free housing, life classes, and babysitting for 2 years while the women work on their degree. She has done many hours of volunteering, maternity drives, and even singing the National Anthem at their yearly gala.

Inspired by MiraVia, Deanna founded the Single Mother Support Group (SMSG) at her Alma Mater, UNC-Charlotte.  With her connections for Maternal support, she also works with Birthright of Charlotte.

Deanna Glenn loves to tell stories and document her life via the camera. This is featured on her YouTube, Intellectual Property of Deanna (iPod98) – where she documented her Miss All American experience, before, during, and after. Also featured there is her theory of Pluto being a planet and an original folk story about how music was created. She is currently working on a documentary about the impact and history of Bees in America.
