Miss North Carolina Junior All American 2025

Braleigh Jayde Mitchell, 9, is the daughter of Jonathan and Kathleen Mitchell and lives in North Carolina with her parents, her two big brothers, and her beloved Yorkie, Milo. She is a 3rd-grade student at a Christian academy, where she consistently earns A/B honor roll. Braleigh loves learning the Bible alongside her other subjects, with math being her favorite.

An energetic and outgoing young girl, Braleigh enjoys cheerleading, tumbling, swimming, camping, and spending time with her family—especially with her 2-year-old niece, whom she absolutely adores.

Braleigh is proud to be the first-ever Miss North Carolina Junior All American and the first Native American to hold this title. As a proud member of the Lumbee Tribe, she values the opportunity to represent her heritage while inspiring others and making a difference. With her title, Braleigh hopes to promote literacy by helping children who cannot afford books gain access to them.

She is passionate about spreading kindness, love, and compassion, encouraging kids to follow their dreams and showing that you can make an impact no matter your age.

Outside of school and pageantry, Braleigh is a fun-loving country girl who enjoys riding her side-by-side, playing with her Yorkie, and trying new things. She loves watching YouTube, collecting Labubus, and recently began piano lessons—which she already enjoys. Known for her spunky personality and big heart, Braleigh always strives to make people smile and feel loved.

Braleigh is honored to serve as Miss North Carolina Junior All American 2025 and looks forward to using her title to inspire, encourage, and bring joy to others.
